Jamey Sterrett is proud to serve as an Assistant Principal at Krum Middle School, where he helps lead campus operations, supports instructional excellence, works alongside teachers and staff, and partners with students and families to promote a safe, positive, and successful school environment. As a campus administrator, Mr. Sterrett is committed to building strong systems, maintaining high expectations, and creating a school culture where both students and staff can thrive.

A native of East Texas, he spent the first eight years of his career in music education with Mount Pleasant ISD, serving as Assistant Band Director and Director of Jazz Studies. His experiences as an educator helped shape his belief that strong schools are built through meaningful relationships, clear expectations, effective leadership, and a shared commitment to student success.

Mr. Sterrett holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from East Texas Baptist University, and a Master of Music in Saxophone Performance from the University of North Texas. As an administrator, he enjoys working collaboratively with teachers, students, families, and community members to strengthen school culture, support high-quality instruction, solve problems, and ensure students have the opportunities they need to grow and succeed.

Outside of school, Mr. Sterrett enjoys spending time with his wife and their son. They enjoy movies, learning new things, spending time outdoors, and gathering with friends and family. He is also a musician, and enjoys volunteering and serving his community.

Tyler Wilson is an accomplished educator with a background spanning 8 years in the field of education. Beginning his career as a teacher and coach, Tyler dedicated 6 years to fostering a stimulating learning environment where students thrived under his guidance. He taught science, coached football, basketball, and baseball in Coppell ISD, McKinney ISD, and Keller ISD. Recognized for his innovative teaching methods and commitment to student success, he transitioned into the role of assistant principal, bringing with him a deep understanding of educational leadership and administrative processes. With 2 years of experience in this pivotal role, Tyler continues to advocate for academic excellence, student welfare, and collaborative school environments. His journey in education reflects a steadfast dedication to shaping the future through quality learning experiences and supportive educational frameworks.

He loves to spend his free time with his wife, two daughters, and son. He loves hunting, fishing, and anything sports related. He loves serving in his local church and helping those in need. 

His biggest passion is hoping to help Krum ISD and Krum Middle School to uphold their mission and vision to reach all learners. I cannot wait to start this school year in Krum ISD!
