Welcome Krum Family,
I am excited to be joining Krum this year! I will be starting my 22nd year in education and know this will be one of the best!
After growing up military, I came to Texas to pursue my Bachelors. I like to say I got to Texas as quick as possible. I received a Bachelor of Arts from University of Texas at Arlington. After teaching for several years, I returned to UTA and earned a Masters in Educational Leadership in 2016. I have taught various subjects as well as served as an Assistant Principal prior to coming to Krum, but have always stayed in middle school. I truly love this age group.

Outside of school, I am a mom first. My older son, Branden, will be attending Texas Tech this fall and my younger son, Camren, will be a sophomore at Northwest High School. In addition, I am also a dog mom. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, soaking up the sun, and traveling.

Introduction
My name is Amie Adams and this will be my 6th year in Krum ISD and my 10th year in education. I taught for four years at Dyer Elementary and taught at the middle school last year. I am delighted to be starting my administrative career this year at KMS, and to be a part of your students' educational journey.
At Krum Middle School, we believe in fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Together with our dedicated team of educators and staff, we are committed to providing a supportive atmosphere that encourages students to explore, learn, and grow.
My goal is to collaborate with parents, teachers, and students to ensure that our school remains a place of excellence and innovation. I am here to support our students in their pursuits and to address any concerns that may arise during their educational experience.

About Me
I got my bachelors degree in psychology from the University of North Texas and my masters degree from Western Governors University. I met my husband while attending UNT, and we have been married for 8 years now. We have two beautiful boys together, ages 5 and 3. Our boys keep us busy, and we love to spend our time outdoors. We love to go camping, ride ATV's, and race motocross.
