About Mr. Sterrett:
Jamey Sterrett is an experienced educator with a demonstrated history of excellence in the public school system. A native of East Texas, he has devoted his career to excellence in education through instrumental music performance, and has served the Mount Pleasant ISD High School band program for 8 years as Assistant Director & Director of Jazz Studies. Jamey holds a Bachelor of Music Degree in Music Education from East Texas Baptist University, and a Master of Music Degree in Saxophone Performance from the University of North Texas. In this capacity, he has enjoyed forming strong relationships with students, parents, and the community.
Outside of the classroom, Mr. Sterrett loves spending time with his lovely wife, Ashley, and his son Robert. They enjoy spending quality time together watching movies, learning new things, hosting parties, and being in the outdoors. He often enjoys volunteering his time, serving his community as a member of the local Masonic Lodge.

About Mr. Wilson:
Tyler Wilson is an accomplished educator with a background spanning 8 years in the field of education. Beginning his career as a teacher and coach, Tyler dedicated 6 years to fostering a stimulating learning environment where students thrived under his guidance. He taught science, coached football, basketball, and baseball in Coppell ISD, McKinney ISD, and Keller ISD. Recognized for his innovative teaching methods and commitment to student success, he transitioned into the role of assistant principal, bringing with him a deep understanding of educational leadership and administrative processes. With 2 years of experience in this pivotal role, Tyler continues to advocate for academic excellence, student welfare, and collaborative school environments. His journey in education reflects a steadfast dedication to shaping the future through quality learning experiences and supportive educational frameworks.
He loves to spend his free time with his wife, two daughters, and son. He loves hunting, fishing, and anything sports related. He loves serving in his local church and helping those in need.
His biggest passion is hoping to help Krum ISD and Krum Middle School to uphold their mission and vision to reach all learners. I cannot wait to start this school year in Krum ISD!
