Greetings Bobcat Families,
I am excited about beginning my fifth year as principal at KMS! It has been an honor to serve the KMS students, staff, and parents the past four years. I look forward to working with the KMS community to make 2021- 22 our best year yet.
The KMS administrative team and staff is confident that we have laid the foundation the past four years that will allow us to take our students' educational experience to the next level. As we begin to focus on the new year, it is important to acknowledge the unprecedented challenges presented to us by Covid 19 the last two years. However, it is even more important to celebrate how overcoming those challenges enabled us to grow as a school community. The students, staff, and parents at KMS have proven that by being innovative, flexible, and resilient, we can overcome any challenge. We are ready to embrace the joys and challenges of the 2021-2022 and I am confident that together we can handle anything that comes our way. To support this belief we have selected "Stronger than Ever" as the theme for the year.
Education is a partnership between a school and the community. I look forward to collaborating with you and the KMS staff to provide a safe and nurturing learning environment where we collectively challenge our students to reach their academic, social, and emotional potential.
The 2021- 22 school year will bring many successes and undoubtedly a few challenges. As we venture into this year together, I ask that we celebrate our successes and extend each other grace as we work through challenges and bumps in the road. I look forward to working with you to ensure our students remain safe and healthy, while also experiencing a more traditional school experience. As always, if you ever have any questions, concerns, or things to celebrate about your student(s) my door is always open. Feel free to contact me anytime. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of the “KMS Family.”
Go Bobcats!
