Hello Krum ISD.  I am Tammy Lois Burrow and I am delighted to be returning for the 2021-2022 school year.  I will be teaching Spanish 1 Middle School and Spanish 2, 3 and AP at the High School this year.  
 I have 24 years of teaching experience.  I am a Highly Qualified Teacher with a demonstrated history of working in education. Skilled in Foreign Language (Spanish), AP, ESL , Industrial Tech Ed. I hold a  Bachelor of Science focused in Secondary Education and Teaching Spanish from Arkansas State University.  I am currently licensed in Texas, Arkansas, and Florida with a current AP Certificate of Training.
Some of my notable experiences was hosting a Student Explore Trip to Puerto Rico in 2017, I did an Intensive Spanish Immersion Summer Program at El Tecnológico de Monterrey, Mexico and at Crowley's Ridge College I made the National Dean's List 1991. I have 6 credited hours at Arkansas State University Graduate Program Education In Industry.
My teaching experiences have included Spanish Teacher at Krum since 2020-21, Spanish Teacher at Harrison High/Middle School, Harrison Arkansas from 2014-2020, Spanish Teacher at Parkers Chapel High School in El Dorado, Arkansas 2012 - 2014, Spanish Teacher and Tech Ed Instructor for Crownover Middle School in Denton Texas 2000 - 2011.  I was an Adult Education Teacher at the Cotton Boll Technical Institute of the Paragould Campus, AR during 1997-2000.  My teaching career began at Corning Public Schools, High School Spanish, Corning, AR in 1996-1997.
I am a current member of the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese and a former member of the Kappa Delta Phi.
I have traveled to Mexico, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Iceland, Finland, Estonia, US Virgin Islands, Barbados, and Jamaica.
